Half Sessions

Half sessions are the perfect option if you are want to capture some high-quality photos of something special, like your big kid losing her first tooth, or an updated family photo. Maybe we could take some fun branding photos, or an updated family photo. This is a quick, 30-minute session, and a great option if you have older kiddos, a group of adults, or just need a few quick photos.
How it works
Half sessions are quick and efficient - they are ideal for headshots, milestone photos, or updated family photos. If you are wanting a large gallery with a variety of poses and candid photos, or you are looking to take newborn photos, you will want to book a full session or a newborn session, respectively. Thirty minutes might sound like a lot of time, but please trust me that little kiddos often need some time to warm up to me and the camera, and newborn babies often need breaks during the session.
Half sessions are also only available during the week (M-F) at my home studio, or at locations in the zip code 75080. This could be at your home, or I have a few favorite locations around town I could recommend.
When you sign up, you’ll have immediate access to my comprehensive Style Guide. I created it to help empower you to style your own photo sessions like a pro, but if you would still like some help, I’m here for you! I have a Client Closet with beautiful pieces you can borrow for your photos, or I can help you choose something flattering and perfect for you. My number one goal is for mom to feel confident and beautiful. If you love the way you look in your photos, you’ll be more likely to share, print, frame, and display them. I want you to LOVE how you look in your portraits.

Ignore the mess at home and come take photos in my studio. I have racks of beautiful clothing options for just about everyone, a simple bed with white bedding, a gray couch, beautiful hardwood flooring, and perfect lighting. Just show up and let me do the rest!

FAQ
How are my images delivered, and what is the turnaround time?
Within 48 hours after our session, I will send you a proofs gallery with all usable images. You will then select your 15 favorite images for me to edit in detail. You will have the opportunity to leave me notes, if you have specific editing requests, and you will also be able to purchase additional images. Once I have your final selection choices, I will deliver your beautiful gallery within 3 weeks. You will receive your high-resolution edited digital images in an online gallery where you can view, download, share, and print.
How long is the session?
Your session fee includes about 30 minutes of shooting. If you have lots of small children, or are looking to take newborn photos, you might want to book a full session (60 minutes) or a newborn session (up to 90 minutes) instead.
When is payment due?
I require a retainer fee of $50 upon booking, and the remaining balance is due at the time of our session. Your session fee includes 12 high-resolution, edited digital images. These will be delivered to you in a private online gallery where you can view and download, as well as share with family and friends.

When you book with me, you will receive instant access to my comprehensive Style Guide, with lots of tips for all situations. I also have a Client Closet with options for mama and littles, so make sure you take a look at all the options I have for you!
